Yoga Warrior is honoured to be hosting David Jacobs, one of the leading yoga teachers in South Africa and the most senior male Iyengar Teacher in the country over the weekend of May 23rd - 25th.

This will be a weekend immersion with 18 hours of Iyengar Yoga (there will be no other classes at the studio that weekend) taking you through the full gamut of yoga postures, and leaving you with a new vocabulary and expression of your practice. It is a privilege to have David’s yoga wisdom permeating our studio, this workshop will be challenging, stimulating and fun - it will be some of the most interesting and intense yoga you will have ever practiced, David’s hawk eyes will notice your every misalignment and misplacement and you will move beyond your perceived limits of your practice.

David began yoga in 1990 and has been studying with BKS Iyengar (the most influential living yogi) in India since 1994. In the same year David opened the first of its kind in South Africa, a BKS Iyengar Yoga Studio in Camps Bay, Cape Town. The studio has had Capetonians flocking to it for years, to learn and practice under David’s beady eye. Now the doors of the Camps Bay studio have closed as a new chapter emerges in David’s life, but his students haven’t had enough, they still travel to his workshops across the country.

We invite you to come and learn from this high calibre teacher. David has been living and breathing yoga for years, we have the opportunity here to benefit from his experience and dedication.

The cost of the entire weekend of yoga will be R1250.
To only attend on Friday will cost R200.
To attend any of the 4 hour sessions on Saturday or Sunday will cost R400 each.

Preference will be given to those booking for the entire weekend.
