27 March 2010: YTF Yoga Day

11.00 to 12.30

Hatha Yoga session presented by the Yoga Connection of Pretoria. Carley and Alan Louw (in Brooklyn) and Charlene Swartzberg (in Centurion) run active studios offering Hatha yoga, Satsangs, Teacher training and host international visitors. Their style of yoga includes Om Shanti and Satyananda traditions and this session will be completed with a Yoga Nidra.

Hilda Light is an experienced Rebirthing facilitator. Through Pranayama, conscious connected breathing, the patterns that colour our beliefs and create the universe in which we live, are released in a gentle compassionate way. Hilda has recently being combining her rebirthing techniques with, Dolphin and Sound Journey Halo Gaia adventurers, so it felt like a natural sequel to our Tibetan Bowl & Gong meditation of 6 March 2010.

11.00 - 12.30: B.S.K. Iyengar Hatha Yoga  :

Lars Kruger  is a certificated teacher of the Iyengar method. This internationally renowned style underpins the traditions of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, as well as elements of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. Teachings of the asanas emphasise correct body alignment, and include detailed instructions that will keep the students mentally present and focused.  A physically challenging but safe and balanced “meditation in action” that will appeal to beginners and seasoned practitioners alike.

14.00 - 16.00 The Journey  Lisa Heath is an experienced yoga teachers, specialized in Heart yoga. She will give an introduction to Brandon Bays, her practical approach to emotional and physical healing work and then guide us through the Journey process.

11.00 -12.30 Sri Ma Transformational Yoga : Hatha session

Karl van der Walt who qualified in India, will lead us through an integral transformation of all five bodies in order to experience a continuous state of physical health and stamina, emotional balance, higher mental guidance, unconditional love, faith, and spiritual bliss consciousness.

14.00 - 16.00 Kumi meditation. In keeping with his motto “Walk the mystical path with practical feet”, Kumi will talk about Karma and the Laws of the Univers, how they impact on our everyday life and how to beneficially apply them in a yogic lifestyle.
