Elizabeth Bell: CYT, CMT. Elizabeth is co-founder of the White Oak Center for Natural Health. She is a CertifiedMassage Therapist and a Certified Yoga & Meditation Instructor. She employs a variety of therapeutic Massage techniques to meet the individual needs and objectives of each client. In addition Elizabeth is a Natural Health Educator having a passion to live and help others live a healthy, natural and joyful life.

Dr. Keki Dadachanji: CYT-350 Dynamic Yoga. Dr. Dadachanji was born in Mumbai, India and is a trained Yoga teacher, and a practitioner of meditation and allied disciplines. He is the coordinator of a Spiritual Fellowship Group (a “Satsang”) in Roxbury New Jersey. Dr. Dadachanji is the Joint Secretary of the Zoroastrian Association of Greater New York, and coordinates education classes for adults of that association. Dr. Dadachanji has studied various spiritual traditions, and has been invited to speak about the common threads of the great spiritual traditions of the world. His understanding of the Bhagavad Gita comes from many years of study and practice in daily living. He graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Indian Institute of Technology, and got his Doctorate in Operations Research from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Dadachanji has worked as a senior manager at various American Corporations for 30 years. Upon retirement in 2005, he decided to turn to teaching. He is a teacher of mathematics at Parsippany High School.

Jeanne-Marie Derrick: Iyengar Instructor. Jeanne-Marie Derrick has been involved with the study, practice and instruction of Iyengar Yoga since 1984. Jeanne-Marie is well versed with yoga therapy, alignment principles and women’s yoga. She is certified in Iyengar yoga and teaches in New York City at the Iyengar Yoga Institute, Yoga Union Center for Back Care and Scoliosis, and Om Yoga Studio, and Yogasana in Brooklyn. She has conducted teacher training programs, workshops retreats and seminars in the U.S., Canada, Asia and the Caribbean and has had her own studios.

Russell Ditchfield: Physical Therapist. Russell began his professional career in 1998, working as a Physical Therapist at New York University Medical Center. Areas of specialty were in orthopedics, acute care, rehabilitation, and as a certified vestibular balance specialist. His intense interest in bodywork, movement therapy and myofascial anatomy guided him to study with highly regarded Rolf therapist, Thomas W. Myers, author of Anatomy Trains. In June 2001, Russell received his certification in Structural Integration, a powerful form of bodywork designed to ease pain, correct posture, resolve psycho-somatic stasis, enhance performance, or simply fill in body image. The ultimate goal is integrating personal growth with a deepening awareness of mind-body-spirit connection. In addition, Russell holds an Integral Yoga teaching certification, and teaches Anatomy & Physiology for various Yoga Teachers’ Training programs. He also teaches Myofascial Anatomy & Palpation course work. Russell’s understanding of myofascial anatomy, synthesized with his knowledge of yoga, offers profound insight into the mysteries of bodywork and yoga asanas.

Laura Fagan: Hatha/Vinyasa instructor and owner of Yoga For You in Lafayette, NJ. Open since 2004, Yoga For You has been dedicated to enriching the lives of women and men through yoga, spiritual bellydancing, education, & community & charity involvement. Laura is also a certified AFAA personal fitness trainer with over 20 years of experience in elite athletic fitness, Pre/Post Natal fitness, Senior Fitness, & Pilates, as well as being a certified Somaveda Thai Yoga Bodywork facilitator. Laura also manages the personal training department at a local health club.

Donna Gellman: Body Rolling Instructor. Donna began her study of yoga in 1987, four years after sustaining a back injury that required surgery which left her with chronic, nagging low back and leg pain. She explored the healing modalities of yoga; massage; meditation; jinshin do; and feldenkrais work before discovering Yamuna Body Rolling. A clinical social worker since 1987, Donna became a certified Yamuna Body Rolling Instructor in 1999, and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2003. Today she calls herself a Self Care Facilitator encouraging people to take optimum care of themselves in all areas. Body Rolling is easy to learn, fun to do, and a profoundly effective tool for helping people to heal their injuries, and lead healthier, more comfortable and pain free lives.

Isabelle Godin: Ayurvedia & Chakra Instructor. Isabelle is French Canadian and arrived in the US in 1999. In January 2001, she received her Yoga Teacher Training from Kripalu and embarqued on this new spiritual journey of self-discovery, love and healing. Now capable to give so much more love to the world, it has become one of the main purposes of her life. In the past 8 years, she explored many different schools of Yoga through trainings and classes: Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Anusura, Iyengar, Vini Yoga, Chakra Yoga and Dynamic Yoga. Her teachings are eclectic which helps to elevate the body, mind, heart and spirit to higher levels of consciousness and understanding. After attending a conference on Ayurvedic Medicine with Deepak Chopra in Chicago last May, she is now studying Ayurvedic Medicine in New York City with Kerala Ayurveda (based in California). In 2008, she received her level 2 certification in Thai Yoga Massage and Bodywork with Lotus Palm in Montreal.

Tulasi Jordan, LCSW, RYT-500, (professional-level yoga teacher) has been a student of Yoga and Eastern contemplative traditions for 20 years. She is a certified Anusara Yoga Teacher, certified Kripalu Yoga teacher and has been teaching yoga and meditation since 1993. It is with gratitude that she is teaching Anusara Yoga as it has been such a healing and transformative practice in her own life. She is also a mom, personal coach, and a psychotherapist in private practice in Sparta, NJ. She recently released the yoga CD Beauty from the Inside Out: Basic Home Yoga Practice.

Denise Kay: Partner Yoga Instructor, in 1983 received a BFA in Dance and movement studies. As a dance teacher and performer she became interested in massage and yoga to help herself, students and friends feel better physically, mentally and emotionally. In 1987 she became a certified massage therapist and in 1999 became certified with Raji Thron in Yoga Synthesis. In 2000 she began studying yoga with Delia Quigley receiving her 500-hours in Dynamic yoga. She is a certified Thai Yoga massage therapist through Lotus Palm, and has been teaching couples the art of Thai massage to enhance their relationships. In May of 2010 she will be certified with Elysabeth Williamson in Partner yoga where the blend of Thai massage and yoga come together creating classes in Compassion, Trust and Sharing. www.bewell.com

Silver Kim, BS, E-RYT, is the Owner of Kula Heart Yoga, trained in the Ashtanga, Iyengar and Anusara methods, and completed the Anusara Teacher Training program with Senior Teachers Naime Jezzeny, Sue Elkind and Sianna Sherman including Therapeutics. She has also studied in-depth yoga philosophy with renowned scholar Dr. Douglas Brooks. Silver has been practicing yoga since 1998 and teaching since 2003. She continues her studies with renowned National teachers Todd Norian, Elena Brower and John Friend- founder of Anusara Yoga. She has additional certi?cations in Restorative, PreNatal Yoga and Yoga for Children with Special Needs. Her teaching style is eclectic and compassionate, drawing upon her studies and experiences in the various forms of yoga. She is constantly humbled as she teaches her love of yoga and is also the Director and Teacher of Kula’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training program. Chris Loebsack 500 ERTY, AcroYoga Instructor: Chris has been practicing yoga since 1995 and teaching since 2003. Chris uses the power of yoga to create a space for students that cultivates trust, playfulness and Devine connection with themselves and with community. Her work often focuses on the healing power of touch and safe intimacy. Her background includes a B.A. in Biology and a B.A. in Theater from East Stroudsburg University. In the following years Chris earned her certifications in Restorative Yoga, AcroYoga and Dharma Yoga 500hr ERYT .

Jenn Allen Logosso: E-RYT 500. Founder of Sundari Yoga, Stroudsburg, PA. During her time in New York where she taught for 3 years she was certified in the ISHTA lineage by Yogiraj Alan Finger of New York’s Yoga Zone/Yoga Works studio in 1996. This is a multilineage style which incorporates the practices of Iyengar, Ashtanga and Viniyoga. Her advanced training not only includes pre/post-natal but also yoga for cancer and yoga therapeutics. She is considered to be an expert in Women’s Yoga, especially during the childbearing years. She was a childbirth educator and labor doula for 6 years and was one of the first teachers to offer yoga to pregnant women on LI. She has worked closely with many OB/Gyn’s and midwives in both NY, NJ and PA. Jenn was also an adjunct yoga professor with East Stroudsburg University and currently with Northampton Community College in the Poconos, PA. She holds the E-RYT 500 Registry with Yoga Alliance. She is a featured writer for the local Natural Awakenings Magazine as well as the national magazine Yoga +.

Shelly Mantegna, Dynamic Yoga Instructor/Arm Balances. Shelly started practicing yoga ten years ago and immediately fell in love with the mind/body connection. She received certification in Dynamic Yoga from the Stillpoint Schoolhouse, in NJ in 2002. Shelly believes in using the power of the breath to ease into postures, rather than using force. Her classes generally feature a flowing sequence and attention to alignment, resulting in both physical vitality and mental clarity. Shelly is also a mother of three, and a learning specialist at a private school in Northwestern NJ.

Daniel McBride, (DALIEN) E-RYT 500, BA in Music. Daniel is a Grammy nominated artist, professional and personal development / healthy lifestyle expert, educator, musician / sound therapist, martial artist, author, performer, certified Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and PTSD advocate and has been an adjunct Professor of Yoga & Meditation at Montclair State University in NJ for almost a decade. His background and experience in the integration of various mind / body healing protocols, yoga, meditation, sound healing, martial arts, shamanism and healthy lifestyle education spans 20 years, both personally and professionally and has spent 15 years facilitating in various therapeutic environments. Additionally, he is graduate of the Hippocrates Institute of Living Foods Nutrition, a member of the Sound Healers Association, studied Kung Fu, Eastern healing and Qigong with 34th Generation, Master Shaolin Monk Sifu Shin Yang Ming from China, an-going student of Native American and Peruvian Shamanism, healing music, drumming and arts for over ten years and holds a BA from NYU in music, jazz performance and sound engineering.

Mary Jean Monk: CYT-350 Dynamic Yoga Training Method. This Method incorporates Ashtanga, Iyengar, Power and Vinyasa Flow Styles. MJ has been practicing and studying yoga with Delia Quigley for 9 years and believes yoga keeps her physically, emotionally, and spiritually balanced. She wanted to teach so she could offer the lessons she has learned to students who are ready to bring Yoga more fully into their lives. Living for years with anxiety discomforts, MJ has found Yoga to be her natural medicine. She wants others to learn that Yoga is the true medicine to balance our nervous systems and give us calm energy that creates a beautiful inner peace and well as a physically healthy body.MJ designs her classes with not only the physical element but adds the emotional and spiritual elements. Her training in the the DYTM System incorporates the “Method, Dynamic, Form, and Practice” Modules to her classes. This system allows for a gradual step by step progression (Vinyasa Krama) to learn the method and philosophy of Yoga with a steady flow of postures and pranayama.MJ works a fulltime job but through her Yoga practice has the energy to teach several classes in the Hackettstown area, as well as several corporate and private classes. Cheryl Paulson, founder of Breathing Room Center, LLC in Frelinghuysen, NJ, a creative and diverse space for both self-care and community. Cheryl was lucky to find yoga years ago in the midst of health struggles, such as asthma and thyroid disease. She studied extensively under Paula (Padmasri) Tepedino and received her certification in Hatha Yoga. Her style is eclectic, with influences in the Vinyassa and Iyengar traditions, and she is currently in the process of achieving her Advanced Professional Level of Yoga Teacher Training. Cheryl has taught both privately and professionally in studios, universities, corporate centers, senior homes, churches, schools and gyms and is thrilled to finally have Breathing Room! Ellen Pfeffer, Masala Yoga Gentle/Restorative Teachers’ Immersion: Ellen is a passionate and dedicated student of the Yoga tradition. She has studied and practiced with Raji Thron (Yoga Synthesis), Erich Schiffmann (Advanced Teacher Training), Dharma Mittra (Classical Hatha Yoga), T.K.V. Desikachar (Breath-centered Yoga), Angela Farmer, Richard Freeman (Ashtanga Vinyasa), Donna Farhi, Joseph LePage (Integrative Yoga Therapy), John Friend, Shiva Rea, Kali Ray (TriYoga) Max Strom, Aadil Palkhivala (Iyengar), and other respected teachers. Ellen developed the Masala Yoga Gentle/Restorative Teachers’ Immersion, which goes above and beyond what is taught in basic yoga teacher trainings. Included in these immersions are deeper themes and practices, such as pranayama, meditation, mantra, creative sequencing, developing critical thinking skills, and how to modify and adapt to the needs of the individual.

Jacque Porterfield: Ashtanga Yoga Instructor: Jacque began practicing Ashtanga Yoga in 1998 with Erica (Sulzer) McHugh. As a runner, she found the practice to be a perfect compliment to her sport and after a couple years, decided to train to become a teacher. Her training included hours with David Swenson, David Williams, Nancy Gilgoff and Danny Paradise; all members of the original group of Americans that, in the 70’s, brought the practice from the founder, Sri Pattahbi Jois. Jacque began teaching in 2002 under Erica, and she completed her RYT 200 in 2006. In April 2006, Jacque became the owner of Lehigh Valley Yoga. Jacque is passionate about teaching yoga to athletes looking to increase strength, flexibility and endurance. Her experience as a runner and the benefits she found from practicing yoga results in a unique perspective in her teaching. She has many students that compete in individual sports such as triathlons, and in team sports. She instructs several Ashtanga and Power Fusion (her own brand of Hot Vinyasa ) classes in studio and in the community every week.

Joseph Premecz: Power Fusion Instructor: Joseph is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance and AAAI Certified in Mat Pilates. Joe teaches yoga and pilates in North Eastern PA, combining his love of classical hatha yoga with modern power vinyasa yoga, pilates, and strength training. His yoga is inspired by the teachings of Swami Sivananada, Swami Vishnu-devananda, Swami Rama and Yogi Hari. “Practicing and teaching yoga continues to enrich my life, giving me a greater understanding of my self and bliss absolute.”

Delia Quigley, Dynamic and Broken Bodies Yoga, is the Director of StillPoint Schoolhouse, where she teaches a holistic lifestyle designed to achieve optimal health and well being, based on her 28 years of study, experience and practice. Delia has been teaching yoga since 1983. In 1999 she was introduced to Godfrey Devereux’s Dynamic Yoga Training Method, with emphasis on the Five Techniques of Yoga and the Five Elements of Nature. She received advanced teacher certification in 2003. The programs she has created, the Body Rejuvenation Cleanse, Cooking the Basics, and Broken Bodies Yoga, are offered as daily and weekly classes in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Delia is also a nutritional counselor, Kushi certified macrobiotic chef, a certified Jin Shin Jyutsu energy therapist and a performing artist.

Lisbeth Ryan, StillPoint Yoga Vinyasa Flow Instructor, is a certified yoga instructor having completed the 200-Hour ‘StillPoint Yoga” teacher training in 2004. She has studied and practiced yoga for over 10 years and continues to deepen her knowledge and understanding of various styles of yoga through research and workshops. Her classes reflect a synthesis of an Iyengar foundation and diverse styles of yoga placing emphasis on a creative, sequencing flow. The passion to share the benefits and rewards of yoga to her students is reflected in her enthusiastic and compassionate teaching skills and the rewards of sharing this yogic magic lead her to train in the art of Thai yoga massage. When not teaching yoga Lisbeth enjoys creative, healthy cooking , a good book and summer mornings in her vegetable garden.

Jeff Scios, 800-hour Jivamukti Instructor: In May of 2005, Jeff became a certified Jivamukti yoga instructor. He then completed the 800-hour, advanced teacher training program, making him a highly qualified yoga teacher. In addition to interesting and challenging asana sequences, Jeffrey infuses his classes with great music ( including his own original songs), humor, and uplifting spiritual teachings. To Jeffrey, yoga is a lifestyle, not a job. The opportunity to enrich the lives of his many students is an honor and privilege. Akalsukh Singh, a K.R.I. (Kundalini Research Institute): Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and member of IKYTA (International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association) is recognized by Yoga Alliance as an ERYT-200. He graduated from Kundalini Yoga East in New York and studied under the guidance of two of the most recognized and compassionate master teachers: Sat Jivan Kaur and Sat Jivan Singh.

Prior to becoming a certified Kundalini Teacher he journeyed on many spiritual paths, those of which include: having taught catechesis in a remote village of a South Brazilian Island, later he studied parapsychology in Brazil at IPAPPI (Instituto de Parasicologia y Psicotronica), as well as metaphysics at the University of Metaphysics International and The Science of Universal Kabbalah at the school of Joseph Michael Levry in NY.

Diane Speer Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga Therapy, a Reiki Master, an Integrative Gentle Body Work Practitioner, and a certified initiate in the Himalayan Tradition under Swami Bharati. She has also trained extensively in the Ashtanga, Iyengar and Kripalu yoga traditions and recently in the area of yoga therapy. Locally she has trained with Delia Quigley and Denise Kay. She has studied and trained in the Native healing traditions and in the Buddhist traditions and in 2006 she received a Buddhist Empowerment for Healing from the Dali Lama. She is registered with Yoga Alliance 600CYT, 200ERYT and a contributing Yoga Therapy researcher with the International Alliance of Yoga Therapists. She remains an avid student and practitioner of yoga, meditation and the natural healing arts and recently is focusing in the therapetic applications of yoga and meditation.

Dr. Brian Trautz: Co-founder of the White Oak Center for Natural Health. He is a Chiropractic Physician, who has practiced the science art and philosophy of Natural Health in the Sparta area for more than 20 years. Dr Trautz is a Certified Hypnotist & a Certified Instructor of Hypnosis integrating Hypnosis into Natural Health Practices. In addition, he is a certified Yoga & Meditation Instructor. Dr Trautz is a Natural Health Educator having a passion to live and help others live a healthy, natural and joyful life.

Fran Ubertini, Yoga Therapist: Director of Yoga For Well-Being in Florida New York is a certified Teacher Trainer with the Krishnamacharya Healing and Yoga Foundation (KHYF) and a certified yoga therapist from the American Viniyoga Institue. Fran holds classes, seminars and workshops nationwide in addition to her KHYF Teacher Training programs. She continues her study in the tradition of Krishnamacharya with Sonia Nelson of in Sante Fe, New Mexico.
